The Lake Ridge Eagles took on Prosper last Friday at RL Anderson Stadium. The Eagles overcome early turnovers and Jamison Manning ran 7 yards to score the first Eagle touchdown making it 6-0. The Eagles defense was solid forcing Prosper to 3 and out every possession.  

In the second quarter Joseph Rowe ran 15 yards for an Eagle touchdown after another Lake Ridge turnover. The Eagles defense held Prosper to 0 first downs at the end at the first half and led 13-0.

In the third quarter the Eagles overcame more turnovers led by their defense which held Prosper scoreless through the end of the third quarter.

Prosper scored in the fourth quarter to make it 13-6 and finally give the Eagles a bit of a game. However Joseph Rowe punched in his second touch down of the night making the score 20-6 and sealing the victory for Lake Ridge giving them their first win of the season. The Eagles will take on Poteet on Friday in West Mesquite Stadium.
