StarCenter Deal Iced
The Mansfield City Council along with the MISD School Board announced Monday night that Baylor Arlington had withdrawn their offer to donate $1.8 million to help build the StarCenter.
A spokesman for Baylor would only say that there was “a problem with the multi-year commitment required of Baylor,” in an ENN exclusive.
Baylor Arlington had stepped in to donate the $1.8 million after the City Council rejected the proposal over taxpayer concerns of the commitment from MISD.
At this time, there are no plans to reopen the project.
