The boys basketball team closed out 5A Region II District 14 play with a 96-61 win over Mansfield Legacy on February 16, 2016.

The game was also an important game for the upperclassmen of the team, as it was Senior Night.

Elijah Long, Vandy Hopson, Colby Honeycutt, Tyrone Hugue, Andrew Knight, and Donovan Grayson were all honored before the game.

The team proved ready for the game as they ended up hitting 21 three pointers!

The game wrapped up a great season as the Eagles finished the season  with a 13-11 overall record and 10-6 record in District play.

The boys also qualified for the State playoffs after finishing in a third place tie with Juan Seguin High School  in the 5A Region II Distict 14 standings.

Because of the tie, though, the boys will have to play one final, playoff seed determining game against Seguin on Friday, February 19, 2016.
