In their third meet of the season, the Eagles Cross Country team competed in the UTA Gerald Richey Invitational Saturday at Lynn Creek Park.

The girls varsity ran well, with a 5th place finish in the overall team standings. Leading the varsity girls with a 7th place finish was Mackenzie Otakpor, 9, with a time of 20:26. “ The race felt great, all my hard work at practice paid off today,” Otakpor said.

The boys varsity team finished in 9th place in the overall team standings. Leading the varsity boys was Clayton Casner, 11, with a time of 17:22. “ It was a good race, I was able to keep my pace and position throughout most of the run,” Casner said.
