Member of the National Security Council Removed for Disagree with Trump

Craig Deare had been removed from his position as a senior adviser of the National Security Council for criticizing the Trump administration.

During his speech at the Wilson Center last Thursday, Deare criticized the administration’s handling of Latin policies. According Politico , he had also criticized the dysfunction of the White House.

White House spokeswoman, Sarah Sanders, confirmed that Deare had been reassigned to his original position at the National Defense University.

Sanders also expressed how anyone that disagrees with the president’s agenda should be removed from the White House.

Participants of  “A Day Without Immigrants” Movement Fired

Many employees took part in a national protest against President Trump’s immigration policy called “A Day Without Immigrants”. The movement led to a number of employees took a day off from work to protest.

As a result employees were fired from their jobs.

After learning that his employees were going to take the day off to take part of the protest founder of the JVS Masonry in Commerce City, Colorado, Jim Serowski, told them that (according to a source from CNN)  “If you’re going to stand up for what you believe in, you have to be willing to pay the price.” And he warned them that they would be fired if they did not show up.

Despite this warning several of his employees did not show up to work and participated in the protest anyway. As a result all 30 plus employees were fired.

Serowski argued that he did not fire them for political reasons, but rather for business reasons, claiming that they’re absence harmed the business.

Several other companies did the same as they fired employees that took a day off that day claiming that it was all for business reasons not political ones.

Kim Jong Un’s Half-Brother’s Suspected Assassination

At Kuala Lumpur International Airport, in Malaysia Kim Jong Nam (Kim Jong Un’s half brother) was killed, right after being assaulted by a woman. Surveillance videos show that right before his murder a tall woman had covered his mouth and nose with a handkerchief.

After the incident he was shown asking for help because he had been feeling dizzy. Malaysian police have already detained one man who was connected to the murder and announced that they are looking for four more suspects whom are said to be from North Korea.

The South Korean government accused North Korea as the act of one of terrorism.

Reports had been found that five years ago Kim Jong Nam, the eldest son of former North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, had sent a letter pleading his brother to stop all orders placed to assassinate him.

Malaysian police announced that the suspects had already left the country and they will continue the search, while in the meantime North Korea rejected an autopsy of the body.

PewDiePie Faces Backlash from Anti-Semitic Jokes

One of YouTube’s highest paying Youtubers, Felix Kjellberg, famously known as PewDiePie was accused of carelessly dropping several anti-Semitic jokes (jokes concerning events between the Jews and Nazis prior to and during World War II).

After coming across a few of Kjellberg’s videos the Wall Street Journal did an investigation on the Youtuber finding that he had posted nine anti-Semitic videos since August of 2016.

However, it seemed that Kjellberg’s video he posted on January 11th, was the last straw. The video showed him reacting to two South Asian men wearing loincloths holding signs that read “Death to All Jews”. The Swedish Youtuber had actually paid them to do this.

The video brought much backlash, and as a result the Disney-owned Makers Studios stopped their partnership with him and YouTube canceled the release of one of his YouTube Red series as well as dropped him their premier advertising program.

Kjellberg claimed that he was not anti-Semitic, and came out with an apology video, apologizing for making such jokes so lightly.

Some speculators believe that his latest video was one of satire showing that people are willing to do anything for a limelight of fame and money, in which through a website called fiber you can pay people to do something and post it on your media or what not. However, speculators did say his delivery the joke and context could have been better to prevent such a negative outcome.

Nick Cannon Quits “America’s Got Talent”

Comedian and now former show host, Nick Cannon, recently quit the popular talent contest television show, “America’s Got Talent” (AGT) after being threatened to be terminated.

After making racial jokes and statements at the television show’s expense, NBC executives found problems with it and threatened to fire him if such behavior continued.

In response to the warning Cannon quite claiming that he could not see himself working anymore for a company that would limit his “freedom of speech, censor artists, and question cultural choices.”

He also claimed that this was not the first time that the company attempted to ‘put him in his place’

Cannon wishes the people part of the AGT and the company the best of wishes but he could not see himself returning. He claimed that no amount of money would make him compromise his moral principles.
