On October 17th, Taylor Swift brought her 1989 Tour to Arlington, TX at the AT&T Stadium for a sold out show.  Her fans dress up in hand-made costumes inspired from her hit songs and iconic lyrics.

Some of our own Lake Ridge Eagles went to this packed arena to view Ms. Swift live. Students Sarah Neudfelt, Taylor Murray, and Haleigh Thompson and asked them a few questions about how the concert went. When it came to their favorite part of the concert Sarah said “The harmonizing and special effects,” while Taylor said light up bracelets were hers. But to name their favorite songs on the album, 1989, that was a little bit more difficult. Haleigh and Taylor stated that their’s was Wonderland and Sarah’s favorite songs are Clean and Shake It Off (because she couldn’t choose just one— but who could blame her?)

Although they may have said different answer one thing that all of the girls agreed on was that the would all love to return to a Taylor Swift concert. A night filled with fireworks and a surprise guest performance from Ellie Goulding is something definitely worth returning to. Swift reinvented her hits I Knew You Were Trouble and Love Story to really capture the audience’s attention— and that she did. This concert was definitely one to get out in the books, so sorry haters but Taylor is at the top of her game and there’s no point in going against her now— so just Shake It Off.
