Eagles Intercepted by Tigers
The Lake Ridge Eagles Varsity Football Team fell to the Lancaster Tigers Friday night, Sept. 16, at Lancaster Stadium. This was the first division game of the season for Lake Ridge. The Eagles record moves to 2-2 with the 54-38 loss.
The Eagles offense, lead by Quarterback Jason Bean, had 478 total yards, with 322 yards passing and four touchdown passes. T.J. Graham had 82 yards receiving with two touchdown receptions, with Zach Johnson and Cartraven Walker each with one touchdown.
The running game struggled against the Tigers, with only 156 total yards rushing and an average of only 4.5 yards per rush.
The Lancaster Tigers dominated time of possession with 305 yards total rushing and 331 yards passing against the exhausted Eagles defense.
The Eagles will be back in action Friday night at Newsom Stadium against the Summit Jaguars. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
