When questioned about AVID, Lake Ridge student Tierany Narro said the program provides a chance to start planning and getting prepared for college early.

“I think my participation in AVID will help in the fact that it helps you to better prepare for applying to colleges and then how to succeed in the college classes,” the sophomore said to ENN. “Which sets you up for a better future.”

Most importantly she told us the purpose of AVID, “The purpose of AVID is to start you on a track for success, for your college career and life after that.”
