The world’s only St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade and Palooza is coming to Mansfield on Saturday, March 12, at 1 p.m.  The 5th Annual Pickle Parade is a free event for the community with over 90 floats, an appearance by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, a pet parade, a free pickle playground, vendor market, and live entertainment.

This year’s parade theme is “Shamrock ‘n’ Roll” and the Grand Marshals are the World Famous Wheelie-ing Elvi, the dare devil mini-motorcycle riders bedazzled in white jumpsuits.

“There will be more Elvis’ that day in the Pickle Capital of Texas,” explained Pickle Queen Paulette Uzee. “We hope to exceed last year’s attendance of 20,000, bringing many families out to enjoy a great day in Mansfield!”

The event kicks off with a free showing of “Grease” at Town Park on Friday, Mar. 11, at 7 p.m. There will also be a 5K, 10K, and kids K at 8 a.m. Saturday morning starting at St. Jude Catholic Church.

“The Pickle Queens and the Protectors, along with the Pickle Dude will be showing off new dance moves. We invite all to join us!” said Pickle Queen Paulette.  “See you all there!”
