New School Year, New ENN
The start of the 2016-17 school year has brought changes to Eagle Nation News!
The addition of ENN advisor, John Sohel, brings fresh new ideas and expectations for the refurbished staff. “I feel like Mr. Sohel is really passionate about the newspaper and will help us get further than we imagine,” said Aysia Holder, senior, ENN Reporter.
The “new” newspaper will be staffed by familiar faces, with Sydney Johnson, senior, returning as Editor in Chief of ENN and the addition of Jacob Uggen, senior, as Editor in Chief of Online Production. “This year I hope the newspaper becomes a bigger part in the school and the way people learn about school functions,” explained Uggen.
The newspaper is also welcoming new editors on board with England Steele, sophomore, as the new News Editor and Shelby Rickerman, senior, as the new Sports Editor for ENN.
The “new” ENN will be utilizing new forms of social media to keep Eagles informed! ENN can be found on Instagram @lrhs_ENN, Twitter @LRHS_ENN, Vimeo Eagle Nation News, Vine Eagle Nation News, with Snapchat coming soon!
It is our goal to bring you honest and thought provoking stories as we look to show the world all that Lake Ridge has to offer.
As always, Eagles can tap the app for instant, up-to-date news on what is happening in the nest.
