In my opinion, Republican candidate Donald Trump is the best candidate for the 2016 presidential election. He’s a businessman, with many years of success, not a politician. He is a hard worker who has worked his way to the top of the business world. He’s outspoken, and has high standards, which would  create the much needed change we need for our country.

Trump has enormous expectations for our country, and believes that America can make a change from the mistakes made in the past eight years. He’s committed to developing better education, strong borders, and a prospering economy.

Trump thrives off being in the spotlight, after all that was the main objective of the successful show he hosted, Celebrity Apprentice.

Trump is big on border control, he plans on protecting our country from illegal immigrants and terroristic threats. First, by building a wall on the southern border, which eliminates illegal trespassing to the United States from Mexico. According to his website donaldjtrump.com, Trump also plans on eliminating illegal citizens by saying “anyone who illegally crosses the border will be detained until they are moved out of our country.” As well as moving out illegals who are already present in our country, Trump also says on his website he will “move criminal aliens out day one, in joint operations with local, state, and federal law-enforcement.”

Education is a key issue Trump targets to improve for our youth. Trump believes our school decisions should be held at the local level by school boards, in order to allow local educational officials to choose the best decisions for the students. Trump prefers the decision of school choice made by parents and local educational communities, rather than bureaucrats in Washington.

Also, Trump is a firm believer toward eliminating Common Core education for our nations youth. This is a policy made for students to learn the same materials at the same rate as any other student in math and language arts, and turning it over to local communities. Trump believes Common Core is a disaster as opposed to Hillary Clinton’s approval of the department of educations one size fits all educational policy.

Furthermore, Trump’s economic plan for businesses, according to a Washington Post article, “reduces taxes from 40% to 15% in order to promote expansion of businesses and make America more globally competitive.” Trump’s decades of experience in the business community have made him recognize that the cost of doing business is greatly impacted by overtaxation.

I believe Republican candidate Donald J. Trump has the best plan for revising and making the changes needed to restore our country’s values and laws outlined in our constitution. I firmly agree on Trump’s view on strong borders, education, and economic plans heads toward the right path of “Making America great again.”
